Endorsements!
Greater Greater Washington, the local blog and advocates for safer streets, more housing, and better public policy, released their endorsements for ANC races this week, in which they said,
Swiderski’s responses to our questionnaire are more thorough than Seidman’s, and they possess a more realistic philosophy of representative government. Swiderski is a consistent presence in Ward 1 who has tangibly made its streets safer in both their personal and professional capacity, and is indisputably pro-housing.
GGWash also noted again that our incumbent commissioner is, as they said in endorsing me two years ago, “a notorious troll who has publicly demeaned his constituents and fellow commissioners: He was found to have violated the First Amendment by blocking people from his official account. He’s also terrible on housing production.”
When I say that “ANCs have a reputation of being toxic places full of toxic people….”
…yeah, that’s who I’m talking about.
Update 1: DC YIMBYs
Doesn’t seem to be on their website yet, but I got word this morning (Sept. 20) that DC YIMBYs, the local branch of YIMBY Action, the campaign to make it possible to build more housing in more places, will also endorse me again!
